He had visited this jungle five years ago. This jungle had been stuck in his mind owing to its unique educational and training standards. Although he had been visited numerous jungles yet this jungle startled him because of its unique way of education. In the educational hub of jungle, ducks are being trained for climbing over the tree. Monkeys are getting trained in swimming. Hens are being trained for message delivering and pigeons are being used for egg laying. When he came out of nostalgia, he thought he would learn this exceptional training style from this jungle and will disseminate this training in his own jungle.
After reaching the educational hub, he witnessed the same scene he had seen five years ago. During the meeting with the mentors of the hub, he came to know jungle is in difficult situation. Ducks are not learning properly to climb the trees; some of them got so desperate by training that they commit suicide. Some monkeys drowned during the swimming training. Hens usually don’t deliver the message at time and sometimes lost the message during delivery. And in other occasions, they deliver the message at wrong door.
There are stringent rules and standards for animals who didn’t reach the minimum levels. Moreover, they were punished for not achieving the proper grades and standards. Because of these standards and punishments, animals achieve their grades and results but these achievements are not long lasting and they started doing mistakes again after some times.
He discussed with the mentors of educational hub regarding changing the training process. He also suggested changing the animals for different trainings as per their interests and passions: training the ducks for swimming, training of monkeys to climb the trees; employment of pigeons as messengers and last but not least the use of hens for eggs laying.
These suggestions created unrest among the animals. Some called for his immediate expulsion from their jungle. Few even suggested ending his life by throwing him in the jungle lake with heavy stone around his neck. How dared he talk against the centuries old educational rituals? The ancient animals who created that system were fools or he is the only wise who can suggest the new system of education.
He promptly realized his mistake. He asked for their forgiveness and after the stay of few days left the jungle: life saved is better than million earned.
پانچ سال قبل وہ اسی جنگل سے گزرا تھا – یہ جنگل اپنے تعلیمی معیار کی وجہ سے اس کے ذہن میں بسا رہا گیا۔یوں تو وہ ہزاروں جنگلوں سے گزرا تھا- لیکن اس جنگل کی تعلیم حیران کن تھی۔ جنگل کی درس گاہ میں بطخوں کو درخت پر چڑھنے کی تربیت دی جارہی تھی‘بندروں کو تیراکی سکھائی جا رہی تھی – مرغیوں کو پیغام رسانی کے لئے استعمال کیاجا ررہاتھا اور کبوتروں کو انڈے دینے کے لئے – پانچ سال قبل کی یادوں سے باہر آیا تو اُس نے سوچا اس جنگل کے کچھ آئیڈیاز وہ اپنے جنگل میں بھی بانٹنے کی کوشش کرے گا ۔ اُس نے وہی نظارہ دیکھا جو پانچ سال قبل دیکھاتھا ۔ درس گاہ کے اساتذہ سے بات کرنے کے بعد پتہ چلا کہ جنگل مشکل میں ہے ۔ بطخوں کو درخت چڑھنے میں بہت دِقتّ ہوتی ہے اور کوئی تو اتنا مایوس ہوجاتی ہیں کہ خودکشی پر مجبور ہو جاتی ہیں۔ کئی بندر تو تیراکی کے دوران ہی ڈوب جاتے ہیں – مرغیاں عموماً وقت پر پیغام رسانی کر نہیں پاتیں اور کئی دفعہ پیغام راستے میں ہی کھو جاتا ہے ۔ اکثر بیشتر یوں بھی ہوتا ہے کہ پیغام غلط جگہ پر پہنچا دیتی ہیں
غلطیوں پر سخت سے سخت سزا بھی دی جاتی ہے مگر کچھ خاص بہتری نہیں آتی۔ وقتی طور پر ایک چستی اور باقاعدگی نظر آتی ہے پھر وہی غلطیاں دوبار ہ شروع ہو جاتی ہیں ۔
اس نے درس گاہ کے اساتذہ سے ٹرینینگ تبدیل کرنے کے بارے میں ڈسکس کیا۔اور ایک تجویز یہ بھی دی کہ جانور تبدیل کر کے دیکھیں۔بطخوں کو تیرنا سکھائیں اور بندروں کو درخت پر چڑھنا سکھائیں ۔
پیغام رسانی کے لئے کبوتروں کو استعمال کریں اور انڈوں کے لئے مرغیوں کا۔اس کا یہ کہنا تھا کہ درس گاہ میں ہنگامہ کھڑا ہو ا گیا ۔ کچھ جانوروں نے تو اس کو فوری جنگل سے نکلنے کا کہا ۔ ایک دو نے تو یہ بھی کہا کہ اس کو پتھر سے باندھ کر جنگل کی جھیل میں پھینک دیا جائے ۔ اِس کی جُرات کیسے ہوئی کہ صدیوں سے چلے آتے اس خوبصورت نظام کو تبدیل کرنے کی بات کرتا ہے ۔ کیا سالوں سال سے جن لوگوں نے یہ طریقہ کار واضح کیا ہے کیاوہ بے وقوف تھے یا صرف یہی ایک عقل مند پیدا ہوا ہے ۔
اسے فوراً اپنی غلطی کی احساس ہوا ۔ اس نے ان سے معافی مانگی اور چند دن کے قیام کے بعد وہاں سے رخصت ہوا ۔ جان بچی سو لاکھوں پائے ۔
